Over the years, we have seen many famous celebrities to venture in to make- up lines, be it Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez or the most outstanding singer Rihanna. Rihanna has been a great success in make-up line especially with the launch of Fenty Beauty. She has made waves with some highly impressive make-up products which all beauty divas love to use.

Continuing the same pattern, Lady Gaga, the Oscar award winning singer has just announced on Instagram that she is also launching her make-up line named Haus Laboratories  and it will be launched in September. Since February last year, Gaga has been hinting about launching a makeup line but few days back she has officially announced the launch of her very own line.

Gaga announced in the last post that her make-up collection is going to truly represent her personality. Her collection is going to be eccentric just like her: very bold, vibrant, bright and colorful. The products and collection is going to be something different yet bright and bold colors.

Lady Gaga is known for her very unique taste in fashion and she has knocked many fashion trends with quite success which no other celebrity could have pulled this enthusiastically. She is known for having different views about beauty. She believes that beauty is not in the eyes of beholder as many people would say but beauty is how you or I see myself. Her logo for this collection is Our Haus: Our Rules!

As I said earlier that Gaga announced the launch in September this year but surprisingly she is the first celebrity who will launch her line in partnership with Amazon. The online retailer Amazon will release her products in nine different countries which mainly include US, UK, Japan, France and Germany. As the collections which are huge hit by celebrities run out quickly from market, so if you an enthusiast about getting your hands on Gaga’s make up line, you can pre-order it from 15th July on Amazon Prime Day.

In the initial launch of Gaga’s beauty line, six make up kits are included and each one of them has been priced at $49. These six kits have been named as

Hands are probably one of the most important and useful part of your body and I think everyone of us ignores it the most and gives more attention and care to face. When I was younger, well when I was in my twenties (alas! Those days are not gonna come back 🙂 Kidding, I love where I am), people used to ask how come your hands are so beautiful and not your face? What do you use on hands but not for the skin. Well that hurts a lot. But anyways, let me share my open secret for those beautiful hands. Although in my twenties, I had a perfectly fair complexion but still my hands did always shine out. Well there is no secret recipe to it. What I simply used to do was to always put on lotion whenever I washed my hands and sometimes, even when I did not wash them, I just always feel the need to put on lotion as I always felt that my hands are drying out. So to keep my hands moisturized, I used lotion regularly.

Well now that I am aging, though I am not that old, just in the beginning of my thirties 😛 I have to take care of them a lot more to make them look beautiful as aging also starts to show on your hands, as it shows on your face. As I have to do a lot of chores on daily basis to keep my routine life go on, so my hands need more attention than ever.

  1. Moisturize:

First of all, make it a habit to moisturize your hands regularly with any lotion. You do not have to spend bucks to buy something very extravagant, just a simple lotion with moisturizing elements will do the job.

  • Do manicure at home:

Well, if you are anything like me and do not want to go to salon every week to spend few hundred bucks, then keep reading. It does not mean that I do not go to salon, I do like to go there once in a while to get my hands manicured but I don’t think it is right to spend your hard earned money every week for getting the services you can easily do at home. This is why, every week I take an hour to manicure my hands. I start by clearing the cutiles, cutting dead skin, soaking them in hot water and then I scrub them and finish by moisturizing with lotion. It is simple, easy and gives the neatness you need for your hands.

  • Use less harsh nail remover:

Try to use less harsh nail removers which are acetone free. A good soft remover keeps the nail shining for good and does not affect nails.

  • Diet:

You diet plays a huge role in keeping your nails shiny and beautiful. Protein and omega 3 are great ingredients to make your body healthy therefore increasing strength and structure of your nails.

Tips:

  1. It is always a good idea to wear gloves whenever you are going to put your nails in water.
  2. Coconut oil is also good for moisturizing the hands.
  3. For restoring the natural looking shine of your nails, when you do not have to necessarily wear a nail polish, do not put on a transparent shiner, rather use buffer to restore natural shine.

The cosmetics industry is filled with “whitening beauty creams” and there is a huge market of women who are dying to buy something which can bring out their “whiter skin tone” especially when you have a dark or wheat complexion.

But trust me nothing in the world can make you happier than being satisfied with your own skin tone. Stop wishing that it would have better if you were born in a country where everybody has a white skin toner or wish your parents were of some white ancestry.

If you want to live your life peacefully and enjoy every bit of it, get comfortable with your skin. It is always okay to not come off a white skin background. You are who you are!!

First of all, acceptance is the key! Accept that you don’t have white skin tone and no matter how many whitening products you use, you can never change your skin tone. Embrace your flaws:

In your teen days, you may have issues which make you hate yourself whether it is your hair or freckles on your face. My grandma from the beginning used to critique me that my hair are so thin but it never bothered me because eventually it was my hair which were straight, silky and beautiful amongst the sisters. So always try to overcome these “So Called” flaws and embrace them. Own yourself and love yourself no matter what.

Be with positive people:

As company is what matters in the end and define who you are, so surround yourself with positive people. Friends who constantly body shame or comment on skin colors or other body related issues, it is better to take a step back from their company as these people will eventually bring you down. Be with positive people and get positive vibes to be more confident within yourself.

Keep yourself fit:

It is very important to keep yourself fit and active as this adds attractiveness and charm in your personality. It makes you fresh and vibrant. Do not let any Insta Post, movie or magazine to tell you what perfect body is. Just exercise to the amount where you feel comfortable with yourself and are proud of your body.

Every one of us is immensely beautiful in their own way and instead of trying to fit in the parameters which society defines for us, it is better to let yourself decide what you are comfortable with. Carry yourself with grace and people will follow you.
