Well, we all know that summers are just around the corner and the days are just going to start when you may worry about getting out into the scorching heat of the sun because your makeup may melt away. We all love summers and they are just beautiful but smudgy eyeliners and sticky lipsticks are not something any woman would ever want.

So, here we will share some tips for sweat proof make up which will help you have the beautiful look with make up all day long even in hot days.

Oil free moisturizer:

Start your day with applying an oil free moisturizer as it will not let any oils to get on your skin. An oil free moisturizer in summer mornings will keep your skin hydrated and moisturized but it will help avoid sweating.

  • Prime it up:  

A good primer goes a long way. Always invest in good primer and apply it after moisturizer but before putting any other makeup. Believe me, you won’t regret these few minutes to prime when you go out in scorching heat as primer creates a layer which helps avoid sweat to reach the outer layer of make up on your face.

Rahul Mishra’s childhood inspirations make way to Paris Fashion Week!!

Well if you have a look in to latest collection showed by Rahul Mishra in Paris Fashion Week lately then you may be proud of him for putting an inspirational show internationally. Well it may come as a surprise to many of you that the creative thinking behind this collection was inspired by his strong feelings and emotions which drive him through life. Some people get inspiration from nature, colors or sense of structures but Mishra has always been all about reflecting his emotional attachments through clothes.

His collection in Paris Fashion Week may have given nostalgia to many of you as it was the main factor behind creating this look. Mishra explains his journey for creating the looks as mainly inspired by his childhood. He gained inspiration from his old house where he spent his childhood days.

Mishra grew up in the state of Uttar Pradesh to the parents who lived in a small house of a village called Malhousie. In a latest interview, while talking about his latest collection Mishra joked about that the village is so small that you won’t be able to find it on Google. Although the house got wear and tear over time as it was abandoned but instead of focusing on the decay, Mishra decided to take inspiration from the house in its current shape where nature started to appear in its most beautiful form. All the animals and weeds in the house in natural form brought a lot of inspiration for the designer.

Let’s now talk about the collection:

Mishra’s collection is mainly a marriage between school uniforms of childhood and the architecture of his old house. All the collection is hand made with strong graphic textile and natural wilderness in signature Mishra’s appliqué. Almost 80% of the graphic textile has been woven with hands where Khadi yarns have been used intricately. On the other side, sheer fabrics have been made in Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh.

Mishra really believes in hand crafted work and is as passionate about the gradual process of making clothes as is the end result. He has articulately supported on many occasions about giving boom to handloom sector in India as the artisans are the ones who make the whole process so worth it!!!

We can definitely see the multi-dimensional aspect of Mishra’s thinking in the collection he put forth in front of the world and this has been the very first time, Mishra used Greys to Blacks palette so vividly. Mishra has been successful portraying the connection of present with the past and modern with the old. One could easily see the tailoring, sheer dresses with trousers and evening dresses. Every piece on the ramp seemed to be so rooted in traditions with modern touch and every apparel was different from other, telling a unique story.
